Hey, Kayli!!!

This is the first I have heard thanks to Mr. Allen and FB. I am so thankful that another family saw fit to focus on life in the midst of their loss turning tragedy into blessings. I have a friend whose mom had a kidney transplant twenty years ago and she is still fine! I have always been a proponent of organ transplant....you are living proof of WHY!!!

I'm so happy for you and your family that you were able to receive a new life for the new year...one of better health and more energy to enjoy being a teenager the way you are suppose to!

You are all in my prayers. If there is anything we can do for you or your family, please don't hesitate to ask. The ORHS band family is just that: a family. We all have to be there for each other.

I breathe a sigh of relief with your parents as they reflect on the sobering thoughts of what they were told of the condition of your old liver. Now, Kayli...no more cutting it that close!

I am sending you prayers and well wishes. God bless you and your family.

Lori Elliott (Chelsea Corbin's mom and proud ORHS Band "pit" mom!!)
